A fantastic opportunity has risen for a bright and dedicated PT Customer Service Representative for a public organisation based in Brighton. The role is paying £9.16 per hour plus holiday pay and is initially 3 months starting ASAP. On offer is a competitive salary, working for a reputable employer, training and guidance throughout the assignment, a generous holiday allowance and working within a friendly environment.
The role is working 22.5 hours per week, Tuesdays & Thursdays and Fridays
- The role is to assist customers who come in to the Customer Service Centre to use the self-service computers and scanners, or direct them to the phones.
- Showing customers how they could do the same tasks using their smartphones.
- Encouraging customers to use digital means to contact the customer service team rather than face-to-face.
What we're looking for
- Previous customer service experience required.
- Good IT skills and the ability to teach others
- Must have the ability to work with the public and understand and manage difficult situations
- To have good active listening skills
- Must be empathetic and patient
