DevOps Engineer Azure

Location: Hounslow

Salary: 500 per day

The successful applicant will join Heathrow's newly formed DevOps team within IT who are accountable for the delivery world class products on their Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. The role will focus on the administration and automation of software delivery across the full Microsoft cloud including Azure, SharePoint and PowerBI. The role includes the management of 3rd party suppliers as well as internal stakeholders to ensure business value is delivered in a timely and cost effective manner

Your role will involve:

  • Administering Azure, SharePoint and PowerBI environments
  • Automating the software deployment process
  • Continuous improvement of process and procedure
  • Maintaining run books
  • Compliance of 3rd party cloud operation teams

We're looking for people who have:

  • Degree level or equivalent educated
  • Automation deployment
  • Scripting with powershell, perl, bash or python
  • Continuous Integration
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Experience in Microsoft system administration
  • DevOps technologies (Puppet, Jenkins, Ansible, Chef)
  • Azure cloud platform technologies
  • Application lifecycle management and software development software (VSTS, Azure DevOps, Jira, GIT etc.)
