Reporting to the Chemical Products Production Manager, the (ProCat) Production Manager is accountable for the day to day running of the ProCat department, including the wet area, dry area and small scale production plants and the ZeoCat department.

The role is responsible for the delivery of metrics in terms of production targets and cost, along with ensuring that EHS, Quality and Security standards are adhered to. The job holder will work with the Chemical Products Production Manager in order to deliver continuous improvement and a LEAN culture. In addition, focusing on talent management and personal development of the ProCat production operators and team leaders with the aim of producing a pipeline of talent to meet strategic succession planning requirements.

The ProCat Production Manager will work closely with the Chemical Products Production Manager and Fine Chemicals Production Manager to help create a collaborative approach and apply best practice across Chemical Products

The ideal candidate will need the following skills -

EHS - Provide EHS leadership in order to improve processes, equipment, staff awareness and training to ensure EHS improvement and delivery against KPI's and regulatory/corporate needs. Accountable for current EHS performance of whole department.

Production Output -Alongside Supply Chain teams, ensure efficient scheduling and reviewing of workload to ensure production output and delivery targets are achieved cost effectively

LEAN/Continuous Improvement - Through a focus on operational discipline help create common and collaborative systems and procedures across Chemical Products

Sales/Commercial - Support LST and CT Development and Sales on increasing product portfolio scaled up onto main ProCat and ZeoCat production plants. Provide a focus on the customer.

Below skills are desirable -

Degree in chemistry or chemical engineering based subject

Six sigma and lean knowledge
