Our client is a national social justice charity with more than 50 years' experience of changing lives. Their impressive range of services across England and Wales cover education, housing, support and wellbeing, substance misuse treatment and the prevention of reoffending. They advise and they speak out for and with disadvantaged young people and adults. They never give up
Their service's in Gainsborough support vulnerable adults from the age of 18 who are homeless or are threatened with homelessness. The services are staffed 9-5pm Monday to Friday.
They are currently recruiting creative, innovative and highly motivated individuals with a strong desire to deliver outcomes and make a difference to the lives of vulnerable people in an exciting but challenging environment. You will need excellent interpersonal skills mixed with a good understanding of issues vulnerable people face. The role will involve planning and delivering support that has a direct impact on the lives of each person. Previous experience of working in a similar role is essential.
The successful applicant will be required to offer advice, guidance and practical support to individuals to help them work towards their goals in life. These may be in relation to; having their own accommodation, training/education/employment or life skills. Therefore the successful candidate will offer holistic support.
