Hyde are looking to recruit a Performance Analyst.

Reporting to the BI Performance Manager, the Performance Analyst (PA) role is to analyse operational data in order to support day-to-day performance management and support longer term strategic decision making.

The PA generates reliable performance insights and communicates them in a professional way so that they are relevant, timely and easy to digest. These insights are produced via both monthly performance reporting and in-depth analysis &project work to produce actionable insight to support strategic decision making.

The PA acts as a "critical friend" who provides support and challenge to colleagues across the business to ensure that performance is well understood and any under performance is highlighted and actively managed.

Duties of a Performance Analyst

  • Data Analysis and Insight - You will produce in-depth analysis making use of multiple data sources/solutions working closely with Insight analysts. You will use a range of software products to support analysis including Excel, Business Objects, PowerPoint and data visualisation tools (e.g. GIS, Tableau)
  • Day-to-day provision of performance and data services - Creating and maintaining operational reports using Business Objects, Excel and other reporting tools, including performance metrics and targets, to support and facilitate business manager decision making.
  • Communication and Business Partnering - Working collaboratively with colleagues in the business to enable them to access and interpret performance information for themselves
  • Other duties - Seeking opportunities to improve the BIP team's processes and systems and supporting the implementation of new initiatives.
