My client is a UK based FCA regulated organisation that specialises in the provision of business process services within the Life and Pensions industry and is looking for Human Resource Business Partner to join there team.

About the role:

As part of a growing and progressive national HR Business Partner team, this new and exciting role will see you partnering a number of the client accounts, primarily based in the Reading and Basingstoke area, covering circa 600 - 700 employees. The successful candidate will join an experienced and positive team, have proven experience partnering with varied business functions and key stakeholders, up to senior management level and a strong understanding of an outsource environment would be of benefit.

The ideal candidate will be able to evidence experience of influencing management teams and embedding HR policies at a strategic and tactical level, deliver, communicate and embed processes and ways of working in large teams that have recently transferred under TUPE regulations. This will require guiding managers in processes new to them so an ability to relate to their situation, coach and educate is essential in embedding my clients people proposition.

You will need to demonstrate experience of working in a fast paced commercially focused HR environment and be able to work independently, be self-motivated and to support and advise on a variety of local employee relations issue including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance management and manpower and recruitment planning. As an HR Business Partner you will also need to have experience of supporting talent and risk planning with a strong commercial understanding,.

The successful Human Resource Business Partner will have:

  • Good understanding of current employment legislation and best practice
  • Strong knowledge and experience of the management of employee relations issues
  • TUPE knowledge/experience
  • Strong team player, good communication and influencing skills
  • Effective time management and prioritisation
  • A Levels or equivalent
  • Ideally CIPD qualified or working towards qualification

My client is happy to consider Reading or Basingstoke as a base location. There is likely to be travel to other sites across the UK including Salisbury, Bristol and Craigforth (Scotland).
